My name is Josh Schmidt, (aka Kaotien), I'm a 22 old web developer and graphic artist. I am primarily self-taught, with only some formal instruction in programming. I have a considerable drive to learn more and try new things, it is quite likely the below list of skills will double within the next year.
Experience wise I've been doing graphic design for 6 years, programming for nearly 4 years. My first real go at web development was when I was involved in Auction of Doom, an eCommerce project at the end/beginning of 2005/2006. After that I moved into web design with a business associate from AoD and have been doing so since mid 2006.
Prior AoD I was a student at Massey University studying Engineering (major: Mechatronics). I left uni after losing interest in the field, I was always far more interested in programming and graphic design.
I have an incredible ability to learn new technical things quickly, as well as the motivation to finish a task (or challenge). I listen well and always try my hardest to do something right. I am a team player, though I can and have worked well independently. I always strife to create something worthwhile, something that can be added to the whole using all the skills and creativity I have to offer.
