Memory Game

This was a memory based card game I programmed from scratch in Delphi, with all images created by myself in Photoshop. The game came about as a way to teach myself more about programming larger apps.

Game Screenshots

The game itself is complete apart from the addition of sound.

The basic premise of the game is a player starts with a field of face down cards, turning them over in pairs the player must attempt to match them in order to clear the field. Cards can be matched in three ways: colour, type and rank. Each card of course has these elements printed on them. Games have a time limit, also the field size can be changed.

A player can either set up a custom game where the field size, card decks etc are set or a campaign game can be played. In campaign play the player must complete 20 levels of increasing difficulty to win. 3 difficulties are available when playing in campaign.

Finally the game records high scores and includes an in-built help file.

You can download the game files here:
Memory_v2.zip (2.2mb)
The file contains the program and required files, just unzip to a directory.
