My work on Uninam.net consisted of construction of a custom CMS, theme adaption and continual bug support. The site itself is a PHP based system incorporating a range of modules for the final presentation.
Features:
- News Module (plus comments functions)
- "Daily Blog" module (a blog with some additional functions)
- Galleries module
- Tour Info page (series of HTML sections)
- Members system including profiles and blogs (also with comment functions)
- Links module (categorized)
- Contact module (form mailer)
- Admin backend for all of the above
- RSS feed generators for all blogs
- Cross-site search function (results ranked by keyword density)
- Thumbnail generation functions
Theme implementation consisted of taking the designers basic HTML/CSS design and tweaking/rebuilding as necessary. Much of the layout was already completed though alot of layout work was undertaken for the bulk of the internal content (paragraphs and the like).
